| WHTS¡¯ first IDDST congress was held on Oct 17 at DaLian. The congress¡¯ theme is focused on drug discovery in post-genome era, which covered most frontier advances in global drug discovery programs. The spotlights of this year will include: keynote Presentations from Dr. Rolf M. Zinkernagel, Nobel Prize Laureate in Medicine, 1996; Dr. Peter Hunter, the member of New Zealand Royal Society, Dr. Vladimir K. Khavinson, the member of Russian Academy of Nature Sciences; Dr. Zuze Wu, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dr. Xiaodong Wang, the distinguished professor from Southwestern Medical Center at University of Texas.
