Edvard Ingjald Moser (born 27 April 1962) is a Norwegian psychologist, neuroscientist, and institute director of the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience and Centre for Neural Computation at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. He currently is based at the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology near Munich, Germany as a visiting researcher.Moser and his wife, May-Britt Moser, were appointed associate professors in psychology and neuroscience at NTNU in 1996. They were instrumental in the establishment of the Centre for the Biology of Memory (CBM) in 2002 and the Institute for Systems Neuroscience in 2007, and have pioneered research on the brain's mechanism for representing space.Moser has won several prizes, many together with May-Britt Moser (his wife and collaborator), including the Louisa Gross Horwitz Prize, and the Karl Spencer Lashley Award. In 2014 they shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with John O'Keefe. Moser also became a foreign associate of the United States National Academy of Sciences in 2014. The prize was awarded for work identifying the cells that make up the positioning system in the brain.

Dr. Hershko is a Professor of Biochemistry at Technion Israel Institute of Technology where his lab studies the regulation of the mitotic checkpoint. In 2004, Hershko was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Drs. Ciechanover and Rose for the discovery of ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. For the past two decades, Hershko has spent his summers at the Marine Biological Laboratory, where he continues to enjoy bench work.

Dr. Eric Westhof is professor of biophysics and structural biochemistry at the University of Strasbourg, France. He is Academician of the French Academy of Sciences, the German Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Europe. He is director of the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of the CNRS where he leads the unit « Architecture & Reactivity of RNA». His research focuses on the relationships between sequences, structures, evolution and functions of RNA molecules using crystallography, bioinformatics, genomics and modeling approaches.

Dr. Zang Hee Cho was the Professor of Radiological Science at University of California at Irvine and the University Professor and Director of the Neuroscience Research Institute, Incheon, Korea since 1985, until he moved to Advanced Institutes of Convergence Technology, Seoul National University. He has been a pioneer in positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging since the inception of the computerized tomography (CT) in 1972. He was the first one who pioneered world’s first "Ring PET", the first molecular imaging device, in 1975. More recently, he pioneered the first PET-MRI (Proteomics 2008) demonstrating that in vivo human sub-millimeter high resolution molecular imaging is possible and published over one hundred neuroscience and related scientific publications. He has more than 300 peer reviewed scientific publications covering from nuclear physics to neuroscience and published 3 graduate level text books. Among the numerous honors and awards, he was elected as a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Medicine in 1997.

Dr. Zhen Li, Senior Vice President of Chemistry and Non-Clinical Development, leads discovery chemistry, biology, DMPK, CMC and manufacturing at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. She is the key inventor of Arrowhead TRiMTMplatform. She has led the discovery and non-clinical development of Arrowhead two clinical candidates ARO-AAT and ARO-HBV, and multiple preclinical candidates, including ARO-ANG3 at Arrowhead. Prior to joining Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Zhen Li held leadership positions at Merck, Schering-Plough and Novartis, and led teams in drug discovery and process development in small molecule pharmaceuticals as well as RNAi therapeutics covering a range of disease areas. She began her pharmaceutical career at Merck where she did research in medicinal chemistry and process development. Dr. Zhen Li received her bachelor of science degree from Peking University and her Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Dr. Emil Fu is the Sr. VP of International Integration at Fountain Medical Development. Dr. Fu has a Ph. D. degree in physical chemistry from Case Western Reserve University (Ohio, USA). He carried out his post-doctoral research at the Brookhaven National Laboratory (New York, USA).
Emil Fu worked at Novartis Institutes for Bio-Medical Research of Novartis Pharmaceuticals for 29 years in the US, eventually as the Vice President for Discovery Technologies at Novartis’ Global Research Headquarters at Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA). Emil Fu then worked at Asia, initially at A-Bio Pharma at Singapore, as Vice President of Bio-Process Development. Then as Vice President of Research at Ascletis Pharmaceutical at Hangzhou, China. Since 2013, Emil Fu has been with Fountain Medical Development, as SVP of International Integration at Shanghai, China.

Dr. Jane Wang is the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry in the Research Service Division, WuXi Apptec Co, based in Shanghai, China. In March of 2010, Dr. Jane Wang joined WuXi Apptec Co, responsible for supporting WuXi customers to conduct drug discovery programs, she has Co-invented and support several clinical candidates for WuXi customers and kept successful track record in identifying new ideas and technologies to research and development. Dr. Wang is strategic and results-oriented with high attention to detail and focus on the bottom line, her scientific capability and dedication in drug discovery have resulted in following accomplishment for her clients: delivered >5 clinical candidates and >20 PCC, supported 2 IND filing, won a risk sharing milestone, received multiple teams’ awards from clients, and resulted in 4 patents as co-inventor. Dr Jane Wang has published 60 patents/patent applicationsand 27 peer reviewed papers during her drug discovery career. Dr. Jane Wang received her PhD from University of Maryland in May of 1995, followed by the Postdoc in NIH and Schering-Plough from June of 1995 to January of 1998.

Dr. Hong Ling, MD, PhD, Qilu Pharmaceuticals
Hong currently services VP of Innovation, Head of Pipeline and Scientific Evaluation at Qilu Pharmaceuticals, one of the largest integrated biopharmaceutical companies in China. Graduated from Zhongshan University Medical School and Wuerzburg University in Germany, Hong practiced as an internist in China, and has been working on disease biology and early drug discovery for 20+ years. He was a research faculty at Harvard Medical School, and alumni of Genzyme, Sanofi, AbbVie and Sanhome Pharmaceuticals (Nanjing) as Principal Scientist, Associate Director, Chief Scientist and Interim CMO, involved in early discovery, translational medicine and clinical development. Hong has published 50+ peer reviewed publications and book chapters, with a focus on apoptosis, NO, ER stress, cell injury and fibrosis.
